Hi everyone.
Two Pelicans is at a dock at the City Marina in Vero Beach Florida. I flew back to Toronto July 30th to wait for my first Grand child to arrive. After spending time in a Hostel in Chinatown,Toronto,I was very kindly offered accomodation with Klaus and Jenny in Barrie ;they are the couple I met on Andros in 2007 on Blue Pelican ,their Pearson 424 Ketch.
They also have a Hughes 38 in Whitby which is for sale.Klaus has owned the boat over 20 years and it is in immaculate condition. www.canadaboatshopper.com
For someone considering going south on a restricted budget ,this yacht is worth a very close inspection.
I enjoyed sailing on Lake Ontario with long time friend Bill on his Niagara 35 Saorsa.....over the Labour Day weekend.
My daughter Jennifer blessed me with my first Grandchild at 10.00pm August 31st. My Grandson Luke weighed in at 9lbs 1 oz ..He is a very healthy chap.
I flew back to Florida on September 3rd.Two Pelicans is scheduled for a haulout to complete a successful survey and repaint the bottom, after which I will head south to Miami Beach to stock up before crossing back to The Bahamas in November.
That's it for now! Dont give up on your dream...the reality is everything I thought it would be and more........having an open mind and a great attitude will get you around the world.........
