Hi everyone,
well I am still here!! My crew from Andros have promised to be here in early June. We intend to make our way up the Exumas chain to Nassau, then to The Berry Islands and Bimini.. When a weather window presents itself we will head across The Florida Straits to Lake Worth Inlet .
I intend to haul out at Ft Pierce while I am away in Canada for the birth of my Grandson.
Meanwhile I have managed to service the Honda Generator.......do odd jobs around the boat and spend some wonderful days on the beach.
Presently recovering from a bout of stomach flu.........again the Clinic in George Town gave me wonderful care.......for a very reasonable fee.
The weather has been mostly fantastic. We did get a small cold front last night......it cleared away some warmer humid air .Today is sunny and warm with 10 knots NE breeze off Exumas Sound.
Last week I paid Robbie( a local diver) to scrape the bottom of Two Pelicans. I had considered doing it myself, but it took him 2 1/2 hours and 2x80 tank fulls of air to complete the job.......a weeks work free diving! We shall now be able to achieve "hull speed"!!
That's it for now folks.........
